Conusg is ideally located in Portree on the beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland, tucked away behind the trees, just above the prestigious Cuillin Hills Hotel.

Built in 1883 as the Coach House for the horses and carriages of the MacDonald family, the property was converted into a lovely family home in the 1960s, and re-named Conusg, the Gaelic word for the Broom flower.

It is still a family home, but we also now offer a Self-contained  Suite of rooms for up to 4 persons.

We are located right alongside the well-loved ScorryBrec Circular walk, with miles of open hillside and shoreline to roam along. Yet we are just 7 minutes stroll into town for all that Portree has to offer.
